Growing Conditions

The growing season started out cool and dry which resulted in late bud break and flower bloom. Late spring and summer months were warm and dry with cooler nights. Vines were free of disease pressure and grapes were clean, ripe and fresh.

Winemaking

The fruit was machine harvested then pressed into stainless steel tanks for fermentation. The juice settled in chilled tank for 3 days before it was racked off the solids and fermented. The juice was fermented at a temperature of 15° C for about 1 1/2 months before chilling down to arrest fermentation.
