Born and raised in New Jersey, Craig Hosbach’s winemaking journey began close to home before finding his calling in the Finger Lakes of New York. Embarking on his professional path, Hosbach accumulated over a decade of experience across multiple wineries within the northern New York winemaking region before assuming the role of head winemaker at Hunt Country Vineyards in 2017. From there, Hosbach honed his craft and shared his boundless enthusiasm for winemaking. Fast forward to 2023, Hosbach now has a pivotal role at Fox Run Vineyards as head winemaker, infusing his expertise and passion into every bottle. Just a year after being hired, Hosbach’s presence at Fox Run has been apparent, releasing his first vintage of Dry Rosé in 2023 and receiving high praise from some of the most well-respected names in the wine industry.

Angelica, from Guilford, Connecticut, began her wine industry journey at 19 as a cashier at a high-end package store. Discovering her love for wine, she quickly advanced to wine manager. While studying business, she sought to combine her academic background with her passion for wine. This led her to a “Harvest Intern” opportunity in Sonoma, followed by winemaking experiences in Australia, Oregon, and South Africa. Angelica then attended Finger Lakes CC and graduated from the Enology & Viticulture program – leading to her first role in the Finger Lakes at Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery. She joined the Fox Run team in 2023 and her first solo project will be released in June of 2024 – our 2023 Piquette.

Angelica Lawler

This medium-bodied red displays aromas of red raspberry and plums. Bright and lively in the mouth with sweet fruit flavors and very fine-grained tannins.

Fortified

A traditionally made, fortified wine that is aged in oak barrels.  This sweet fortified wine bursts with blackberry, blueberry and plum aromas. Its mouthfeel is all about velvet and fire.  100% Merlot.

Our popular blush wine is a blend of Cayuga and Concord. Look for juicy fresh fruit flavors, a refreshing sweetness, and enormous food-friendliness.  A soft and fruity blush wine, with aromas of strawberry and citrus. 

Blaufrankisch-Chambourcin Blend

Pizza and spaghetti lovers know to reach for this lush, soft red. This is a blend of red wines with a touch of sweetness. Not to mention it's lovely chilled, making it a go-to red for summer.  Aromas of fresh berries and spice are backed up by hints of jam and oak. Very soft and plush in the mouth, with perfect integration of flavors.

White

The sweeter side of Finger Lakes Riesling is on display in this perfumed, luscious wine. Look for flavors of peaches and nectarines along with a burst of citrus. 

Breaking from the traditional barrel aging process, the winemakers used stainless steel to preserve the fruit-driven expressions in this wine. 

Blaufrankisch Blend

Fox Trot Red combines the dark berry aromas of Lemberger with the unmistakable flavor of Concord grapes.  This wine is sweet and soft.

Our semi-dry Riesling rendered as an exuberant bubbly. Served well chilled, this is one of the most versatile wines on our portfolio.

Tons of flavor intensity, with bold acidity and a long finish.  We are extremely proud of this zesty aromatic dry Riesling. It is a classic example of the style of wine that has made the Finger Lakes world famous.

The palate is perfectly balanced, with a soft yet vibrant finish. This incredibly versatile Riesling is a perfect match for spicy Asian dishes.

Aromas of raspberry and black currant are augmented by sage and herbal notes. Medium-bodied. Bright and lively in the mouth with sweet fruit flavors and very fine-grained tannins. 

Crisp and vibrant, fermented in stainless steel.  Our unoaked Chardonnay is fresh and flavor-packed, with no distracting oak flavors. 

Aromas of fresh blackberries, raspberry jam, and a suggestion of black pepper are followed by rich plum and red cherry flavors that evolve to sweet vanilla. Moderate tannins mark this as an excellent food wine. 

This wine is all about capturing Riesling’s exuberance while dialing in subtle flavors and textures from barrel fermentation. Look for aromas of lime peel and wet slate coupled with hazelnuts and bread dough. This wine is just off dry, with a distinctive creamy richness with a refreshing finish.

This barrel-fermented, cool-climate chardonnay is snappy and refreshing on the palate, with medium body and great flavor persistence.  Lightly oaked.


White Blend

The Arctic Fox is one of our top selling wines, and it is made with 100% Cayuga grapes.  This semi-dry wine captures the soft and fruity side of Finger Lakes white wines.  Off dry, perfect as an apéritif or with a broad range of foods.

A trifecta of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Lemberger, fans of port will LOVE this Tawny.

An aromatic, semi-dry varietal from the Gewurztraminer family.  Our Traminette will be your gateway to paradise with its zesty tropical fruit aromas. The feel is seductively smooth with a burst of tartness. We recommend serving this wine lightly chilled as an aperitif.



Sparkling

A sparkling wine made in the traditional champagne method from estate-grown Chardonnay grapes.

Pinot Noir Blend

This Chardonnay is crafted through a unique process of barrel aging on Riesling lees. These lees break down and release proteins that give this wine a soft mouthfeel. Enjoy subtle Riesling notes and beautiful aromatics.
