Prejean Winery

At Prejean Winery, we honor the tradition of winemaking that has been handed down for almost a thousand years. Prejean Winery grows grape varieties that originated in Europe; such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and Chardonnay. Our Gewurztraminer, planted in 1979, is a mouthful in more ways than one. It is grown in the Alsace region of France. Riesling, also grown in France, but known predominantly in Germany, is now the Finger Lakes’ signature grape variety. Our Dry Riesling has just won Double Gold Winner in the 2019 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
