A dry, fruity, aromatic blend of Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and NY-45 (a locally-adapted hybrid). This wine experienced native fermentation.

Our 100% estate grown Riesling is the most special wine produced at Silver Thread. It captures the pure, distinct flavor of our site and is unmistakably original. Bio-intensive growing practices encourage intense expression of vineyard character. An ideal candidate for cellaring, this wine will unfold and become more complex with bottle age.

100% estate grown Blackbird was barrel aged for 10 months and is made from our best red grapes. Grapes were hand-harvested at optimal ripeness from our 15-year-old lakeside vineyard that is farmed using bio-intensive viticulture. The result is elegant, complex and earthy, with excellent length and ageability. 160 cases were produced. 80% Cabernet Franc, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot.

Fresh cherry and cranberry aromas with hints of flowers and dried herbs. Youthful and fruity with medium body, soft texture and light tannins.

Silver Thread Dry Riesling is our flagship wine and a benchmark for this signature style of the Finger Lakes. Elegant and savory with medium body. Noticeably long finish expresses grapefruit and minerals.
