Nose

This wine starts with red cherry and cranberry fruit but also hints of blood orange, woodsy spice, and dried flowers. (Notes from Press Fraction Tasting Table, January 2022)

Palate

Supple and lighter-bodied, the palate is framed by soft tannins and gentle acidity. Flavors of strawberries and cranberries are layered with more dried flowers and some savory herbs. (Notes from Press Fraction Tasting Table, Jan. 22)

Winemaking

A blend of all six Pinot Noir clones grown in our estate vineyards, the grapes were hand picked and fermented with about 25% whole clusters

Aging

After pressing, this wine was finished in a single 1200 liter Sandstone Jarre where it was aged for 10 months.
