Aged for 16 months in a combination of new and older 228L French barrels.
A blend of all of the clones from our estate vineyard, this elegant Pinot Noir was aged for 16 months in a combination of new and older 228L French oak barrels.
This rich red blend was crafted from estate grown Pinot Meunier and five different clones of Pinot Noir grapes, hand harvested from our 89 Block.
Produced in the "Carbonic" method, the whole clusters were loaded into Cocciopesto "Drunk Turtle" vessels which were sealed and purged of air. The resulting wine is low tannin and fruit forward, with a distinctive Cabernet Franc nose.
Hand-picked and partially dehydrated prior to fermentation. This wine was pressed off and aged in a combination of two older French Oak Barrels and one Barrel-sized Italian terra cotta "cigar." Dense and rich, with layer upon layer of flavors and aromas.
A blend of all six Pinot Noir clones grown in our estate vineyards, the grapes were handpicked and fermented with about 25% whole clusters, then pressed off and finished in a single 1200 liter Sandstone Jarre where it was aged for 10 months.
Fermented on the skins and finished in Clayver vessels.
