Heron Hill Winery has become a coveted destination within New York for tourism. Heron Hill Winery was chosen as one of the ten most spectacular tasting rooms in the world by Travel + Leisure magazine! In addition to the magnificent vaulted tasting hall and winery overlooking vineyards on Keuka Lake, Heron Hill also has a tasting room on the west side Canandaigua Lake.

In 1972 John and Josephine Ingle first planted grapevines overlooking Canandaigua Lake, known today as Ingle Vineyard. Heron Hill’s grape grower and owner, John Ingle often says that Heron Hill has “boot prints in its vineyards, not tire tracks.” People maintain the vines at Heron Hill, not machines. This personal approach and commitment to quality is evident throughout every aspect of making, serving and selling Heron Hill’s wines. These guiding principles have remained constant through the years – from hand-maintaining the vineyards to hand-harvesting grapes to offering educational and enjoyable tastings and hosting events that combine food, wine and entertainment.

Heron Hill has won many awards for its distinctive, elegant wines and continues to be at the forefront of Finger Lakes winemaking. Heron Hill's Ingle Vineyard Riesling 2002 won "Best of Show, White Wine" & Double Gold at the San Francisco International Wine Competition.

The Game Bird Red is mellow red wine with notes of ripe cherry and blackberry, with an essence of herbs.

The dark ruby colored wine has intense aromatics of raspberry, violets, cassis, stones, and blueberry.

Cold fermented in stainless steel tanks. Post fermentation, this wine spend three months sur lie before filtration and bottling. 

Medium ruby colored wine is all about elegance and complexity. The medium bodied palate has silky but abundant tannins and perfect acidity. 

The 2021 Semi-Dry Riesling is all about balanced elegance. Intense with ripe apple, bosc pear, ginger and green papaya.

A sparkling lively red wine with fruit of bramble, cranberry, raspberry and floral notes

A Riesling of great purity, refinement, and potential longevity. 

An alluring bouquet and a quintessential Finger Lakes minerality, balanced by notes of pear and passionfruit. 

Fresh citrus and tropical fruit accented by subtle oak aromas, creating a lush and well balanced wine. 

Rosé

A beautiful pale pink salmon colored wine with intense aromas of watermelon, floral notes, blood orange, strawberry and minerals. 

A well-balanced red blend with jammy flavors of black cherry and blackberries. Hints of nutmeg and licorice are in the background with soft tannins. 

A very friendly, exotic and fruit forward style of Riesling with aromas of peach, nectarine, guava and Meyer lemon notes. 

Medium ruby colored Cab Franc with classic character.
