Palate

Rich and dark with flavors reminiscent of currant and elderberry. The Port's smooth sweetness is balanced by medium tannins and rich fruit.

Bottling

In a decorative, German-made terracotta bottle.

Winemaking

It is made with estate-grown Chancellor grapes and fortified with grape spirits made from those Chancellor grapes.

FERMENTATION: Split, 85 F°, stopped at 8%. Sugar w/ wine spirits.

RS: 6.0%

Food Pairing

Wonderful when paired with nuts, cheeses, and chocolate - in many combinations.
