This medium bodied red wine has silky, smooth tannins and an elegant finish.

Growing Conditions

The 2012 growing season was warm and dry with an Indian summer extending into the fall, which allowed for optimum ripening in the vineyard.

Winemaking

The fruit was fermented on the skins in open top tanks for 14-18 days depending on the varietal before being aged for 12 months in Hungarian oak. The blend is comprised of 58% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Malbec, 8% Cabernet Franc, and 8% Petit Verdot.
